Bird Feeding Station
So that birds can find something to eat in the garden in winter, you can craft a POM-BEAR bird feeding station. It is a wonderful alternative to the classic bird house and it is great fun watching the small birdies pecking away at the seeds!

What you need:
- a plant pot made of clay (with a hole in the base)
- white paint (i.e. acrylic paint)
- clear acrylic varnish
- coconut oil
- bird food
- thick cord
- our template
- a paint brush
- a pair of scissors
- a pan

You need that:
First of all paint the clean and dry plant pot white and let it dry thoroughly.
You might have to give it two layers of paint so that it doesn't look patchy.

Cut the template out and stick it around the outside of the plant pot. The result is a real, small winter landscape in POM-BEAR look.
When you are finished, apply the acrylic varnish using the paint brush – this will make the deco of your bird feeding station waterproof. Let everything dry properly again.

While waiting heat up the coconut oil in a saucepan together with your parents. Once it has turned to liquid you can stir the bird food into it.

Pull the cord through the hole in the plant pot and knot it on the outside (underneath the plant pot), so that the hole is well-sealed.
